On a Typical Day: Strategy, Connections, and Solving Problems

For a Senior Account Executive, no two days are alike—it’s a constant mix of strategy, outreach, and problem-solving.

“I usually start by reviewing my active opportunities and mapping out prospecting strategies for the week, focused on net-new enterprise accounts,” says Gio. “Much of my role is engaging with CTOs, heads of data, and technology leaders who are looking to modernize their infrastructure.”

In practice, that means showing how EDB Postgres® AI (EDB PG AI), our sovereign data and AI platform, can help these leaders accelerate analytics, enable Generative AI with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and orchestrate models while solving complex challenges like Oracle migrations or global availability.

A core part of the job is connecting a client's current challenges with the possibilities that our platform opens up. “What excites me most,” he adds, “is building tailored roadmaps that help them unlock innovation and scale for the future.”
